Lithgow State Mine Museum. The industrial history of the New South Wales Western Coalfield.

The Lithgow State Mine Museum presents the story of coal and shale mining in the NSW Western Coalfield. The museum holds the Australia's most comprehensive collections of coalmining artefacts and equipment within the buildings of the former Lithgow State Coal Mine.

Museum opening hours: Noon to 4:00pm Weekends, school and public holidays. Group tours any time by arrangement.
